Project intake checklists

Receive the right
data before the
evaluation
starts.

When an opportunity reaches us, our first objective is to understand what is known, what is assumed and what is still missing. The checklist helps us structure that information quickly for an initial technical, commercial and source review.

Input data

Four information packages.

We do not need every field to be complete before starting a discussion. We do need the missing information to be visible so the next request is purposeful.

Project / mine

  • Mine or concession name and location.
  • Owner, supplier and relationship between them.
  • Coordinates, access, production status and available tonnage.
  • Geology, mineralization, sampling and available assays.
  • Permits, rights or documentation relevant to the stage.

Copper or gold ore

  • Ore type, grade and variability range.
  • Material size and moisture.
  • Mineralogy or oxidation / sulfide information.
  • Previous metallurgical results and known recovery.
  • Objective: purchase, toll processing, flowsheet development or other.

Concentrate

  • Cu/Au/Ag and available multi-element assay.
  • As, Sb, Bi, Hg, Pb, Zn and other relevant elements.
  • Moisture, DMT/WMT, particle size and packing.
  • Tonnage, frequency, location and delivery point.
  • Origin, lot, sampling, laboratory and available traceability.

Processing requirement

  • Feed, grade, mineralogy and tonnage.
  • Required capacity and schedule.
  • Current or proposed process and principal bottleneck.
  • Target products, specification and expected recovery.
  • Available plant data, balances and testwork.
Traceability

Identity and source are technical data too.

For us, identity and source are technical data too. Grade and tonnage lose value if the sample, lot or source cannot be linked reliably.

  • Supplier / counterparty and authority to offer the material.
  • Mine, concession or source and verifiable location.
  • Lot, sample, laboratory and date identifiers.
  • Dispatch, receiving or production history where available.
